There is no denying that Wingstop makes some of the best wing sauces around. But now you can make these sauces right in the comfort of your own home. I absolutely adore the original hot sauce. It’s spicy, buttery, tangy, and perfect on bone-in and boneless wings. I’ve even used it on buffalo cauliflower and in buffalo chicken dip. The trick to find a good Cajun-style buffalo sauce. Most brands will work, but I’ve found that Cajun Chef and Cajun Nation buffalo sauces produce the best results.

Note on food coloring: You do not need to use food coloring for this recipe. It is purely optional. However, if you’d like a more vibrant orange/red color for your Wingstop Original Hot, I recommend using it. There are plenty of all-natural food coloring options that do not include any artificial dyes.
